Chania Sightseeing

Crete, in the middle of the Mediterranean. The island where, according to mythology, Zeus was born, the father of the Olympian Gods, the god of hospitality, but also the island on which the first European civilization of Minos and Ariadne was founded and developed.  Chania, claimed to be the most beautiful part of Crete, is waiting for you to explore it. Akrotiri peninsula, lies to the north-east of the town, with sandy beaches awarded with Blue Flags and arceological momuments of great interest. For those who prefer nature, walking and hiking paths are easy to reach and discover the unspoiled side of Chania. Confirming it's name as "The Holly Mountain of Crete" ancient monasteries and churches of great importance stands here through ages to acquaint you with the history.
